Menorans are polytheistic, though the names and faces of the gods vary widely across the lands. However, almost everyone acknowledges the 7 Great Gods. They are, in order of importance, Mynoss, Mina, Aros, Laurana, Thensys, Deloræ, and Hellfr, all but one of which with a faction of priests and priestesses.

Mynoss - (MY - nohss) the King of the Gods, God of War, Sun God, and patron of most military factions. He is usually depicted as a tall, muscular man of varying skin tone and shoulder-length wavy blond hair. Invoking his name in a pact is said to be binding by life.

Mina - (MEE - nah) the Queen of the Gods, Mother Goddess, Lady of the Moon, and patron of most medical practitioners. She is usually depicted as a very tall, beautiful woman of varying skin tone and floor length hair. She is the goddess of marriage and childbirth as well as healing and peace.

Aros - (AIR - ohss) the Wise One. He is usually depicted as a child, aged about six, dressed in rags with black, knowing eyes.

Laurana - (lore - AH - nuh) the Beast Lady. She is usually depicted as a hardened young woman, lightly clothed, and always with a bow. Most pray to her or one of the lesser beast gods before and after a hunt.

Thensys - (THEN - sees) the Dream God. He is usually depicted as a tall figure completely shrouded in black so as to hide his features. sometimes, his dreams show the future.

Deloræ - (DEL - or - AY) the Goddess of Chaos. She is never depicted and rarely worshiped. It is her duty to maintain the balance of the world by equating every happiness with a sadness, though she attempts to obliterate all happiness.

Hellfr - (HELL - fir) the Death God. He is never depicted. It is common knowledge that he forgives all sins in the end, but nothing will go completely unpunished.
