"I dreamed I’d be a poet, Write a different story,
One that told of glory, and wiped away the lies
And to the skies I’d throw it, the stars would do the telling
The moon would help with spelling, and night would dot the ‘I’s
I’d write my verse, Recite my joke, it’d fit in perfect timing.
I’d share my heart, confess the things I learn, and do it all while rhyming. "

but you still only graze the outer skin.
Skin Tone: Fair skin
Eyes: Kind and mesmerizing hazel shaded eyes with just a slight hint of yellow around the pupils.
Hair: Soft coffee brown curls
Height: 5’4
Build: She has soft and delicate features, with a blemish free face. She has a slim body, but prominently curvy in all the right places that men would like to see in a woman. She’s petite in stature and has absolutely no muscular definition to her.
Style:Being a girly girl, Ashlynn prefers to wear expensive, elegant, and pretty clothes that fit her social status and accent her body type nicely. Her favorite outfit is a rose pink colored dress that her father bought her for her last birthday. But she also knows theres a time and place for evening gowns, and that helping to watch a child is anything but clean – so she doesn’t mind dressing down into a less formal dress to make sure she can keep up with her favorite little boy.

Father: Darius Brunswick
Mother: Sara Brunswick
Other: Two older sisters, two older brothers, and one younger brother. (unnamed for I may eventually want to post want ads)
History:
Coming from a wealthy and loving family, Ashlynn received everything she could have ever thought to receive. She was spoiled to the core and yet was brought up remaining humble. She had her father to thank for that, for her mother was always a bit vain. But nevertheless Ashlynn loved the two more than words could ever say. Her father brought her up with confidence and always told her she could do absolutely anything. He also taught her to believe that there was no difference between men and women, despite what some people liked to believe. So he made sure to bring her up with the realization that she could be treated with the upmost respect and to never let anyone put her down.
She was taught by her mother how to handle the household, and toughened up by the teasing her older siblings bestowed upon on her. Ashlynn was always very sociable though and liked going around town with her dad. She always seemed to have a knack for picking up a new friend or two her age. She grew up never feeling too sheltered or overly exposed so she never ran into the problem of “rebelling”, much to her parent’s relief.
As she grew into age, it was time for Ashlynn to start to find a proper suitor. Fortunately, Ashlynn was a total daddy’s girl and had the luxury of being picky. Her father would never make her marry someone she didn’t want too, but she could see that he was beginning to get a little impatient and was ready for Ashlynn to decide on one of the suitors who had come calling.
Before the talk of suitors became too serious, Ashlynn came across the terrible news that the wife of a close family friend had passed away – leaving a now widowed husband and less than two year old son, Liam. Being the most “motherly” out of her siblings, Ashlynn was sent to help Lord Leon with his son. Ashlynn was more than happy to oblige her father’s wishes, for she had always liked the Malberg family (despite the odd gossip here and there about Leon’s faithfulness) and had taken a particular liking to his young son.
STILL DO NOT JUDGE
for you will never walk their shoes.
for you will never walk their shoes.
Fears:
- Losing her family
- Rats – she despises them with a passion
- Never finding a husband and having kids of her own
Mental Stability: sane
Strength:
-Patience for children.
-She is also strong willed and very confident in her abilities.
Weakness:
- Sharp temper when she’s passionate about something.
-She’s also very opinionated which leads to her sometimes overstepping her bounds a bit more than she should.
- Her family and Leon’s son – shed do anything for her family and that little boy.
- Rats – She hates them and has quite the irrational fear of them.
General Persona:
Looking on the surface of Ashlynn, people can see a bright eyed young woman who is courteous and kind. She enjoys helping others no matter what their social status, and has an extreme soft spot for children. She is a passionate woman in just about everything she says and does. If she finds you in her favor, then you should consider yourself exceedingly lucky for she will treat you like gold and ensure that your life is a happy one. She is consistently loyal and never wavers from her true friends. On the flip side though, piss her off and you’ll see that she brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “hell has no wrath like a woman scorned”.
For as gentle and compassionate as she can be, she is equally, if not even more so, unforgiving of those who betray her trust and loyalty. She is always willing to throw her entire self into a friendship or relationship, so to be betrayed seems twice has hard for Ashlynn to deal with. If you want to make it up to her later, it’s definitely a chore and doesn’t happen overnight. She can be a shockingly sensitive and emotional girl at times, and can be as fragile as she looks when upset.
Intelligence wise, Ashlynn is extremely smart. She knows how to be calculating and manipulative (though not in a malticous way, but rather to achieve a goal she is working on) when she wants to be, and like the rest of the world, she likes getting her was. Though she may come on strong, and perhaps a bit to bold at times, Ashlynn truly is a genuine woman who wants nothing more than to fall in love and get her fairytale ending.

Stepping outside of the taxi cab the young British woman had taken, she could very honestly say she felt as though she was on the verge of death. Jet lag was probably the worst thing God could have ever created. All Mia knew at this moment was that her five thousand mile trip had turned out to be the longest eleven hours of her life. It was four in the afternoon here, which meant that back home it was midnight. She had hoped to arrive around noon, but the weather back in London wouldn’t allow such a request, and instead caused Mia’s flight to be delayed. Nevertheless, she was just glad to be off the plane and in front of her brother’s home.
The two siblings were like two peas in a pod, and before her brother had moved to California, they were both practically inseparable. Even with her council father always breathing down her brother’s neck to be a better Watcher, Darian had never forgotten about his little sister. He had always watched out for her, and she always made sure that despite their strict father, he had plenty of fun. It had been months since she’d seen her brother, which is why she was here. She’d missed him so much, and wasn’t used to, and didn’t like for that matter, being without him. Not to mention, Mia was always looking for a bit of adventure. What better way to find and explore new things then by moving to a whole brand new country? And she got to spend more time with her brother while doing it, what more could she have really asked for?
Moving her big white sunglasses from her eyes to the top of her head, an accessory Mia would never be caught dead without, she moved to the back of the taxi cab while the driver pulled out two large suitcases, and a smaller medium one. They were filled with nothing but clothes, a hundred more pair of sunglasses, shoes, and other accessories.
“Thank you.” She said to the taxi driver, her accent never thicker or more obvious now that she was here in America. After paying him a nice tip, Mia rolled her suitcases up to the front door. Now that she was standing outside Darian’s house, the feeling of exhaustion evaded her and all she was aware of was her undying excitement. Between Mia’s spontaneity and her everlasting love for surprises, she had purposefully neglected to call Darian and let him know she was flying over, let alone showing up on his doorstep today. She hadn’t even informed her parents of her leaving until the day before her flight, and she had only told her mother who was much more easy going then her father would have been. She was afraid that they a ) would have tried to stop her, or B ) called Darian in advanced and ruined her fantastic surprise. Her mother still wasn’t that pleased to hear that her daughter was leaving the country like her son had, but Mia reminded her mother that she was twenty and that she would be heartbroken if she called Darian. Her mother grudgingly agreed not to tell Darian, but made Mia promise that she’d call when she arrived.
Standing in front of the door with a wide smile Mia placed her finger on top of the peep hole, not allowing Darian to cheat and ruin her surprise. With the anticipation beginning to kill her, Mia pressed the doorbell once and listened to see if she could hear footsteps coming her way. “You very well better be bloody home, Darian.” She whispered to herself, bouncing lightly as her anxiousness beginning to get the best of her. “Otherwise I’ll kick your arse for ruining my planned moment.” She breathlessly promised to the air.
