The site picks up in season 4, after Rumpelstiltskin has come back to Storybrooke with the Queens of the Author the writer of all the fairytale books got captured, by the Queens of Darkness as well Rumpelstiltskin being with them they want their happy endings and now they have the means to do it. Story's are being rewritten facts change, Rumpelstiltskin is still the Dark One events change here and there making it hard for the heroes as well the unsung heroes to find their true loves like before.
Yet as all appears well for the Villans getting their happy ending they have always wanted, the Author gets taken back by a strong powerful mystic who is keeping the Aurhor hidden making it hard to find them. In fact all of New York and likely the rest the world might have even been engulfed in magic some how.
Also because of events each person is one way by day and another by night until the spell breaks for each one by one with the truest tears. Everyone also finds as they wake they are not in Storybrook, but scattered all over New York without knowing who or if anyone else has made it.
What all has changed is that Hero's find it harder to get their true love compared to the villains now, also the Villans are more seen as the hero's by many compared to the villains and the only way for things getting put back the way they are is to get everyone back to Storybrook as well find the Author to put things back the way they once where. For some once they know it will be a great idea for others they will not likely be so up for the idea, so how will your path of changed how will it have carved out with new events to add to your history that have happened to you.
